This week’s assignment will be on drawing a storyboard for our story idea.. I came up with a simple, easy understandable story between a small boy and his grandfather. I’ve yet to come up with a title for the story.. the story board is done but I’ll post it up another day..
I based my postcard on the F1 ROCKS concerts that would be organized at the end of next year.. But I based some of the information on this year’s concerts.
After the online tutorial session, I realised that many of my fellow classmates did not notice the music element in the postcard, which is the piano keys that the F1 car is tapping on. Thus, I’ll be editing the postcard. Either by adding more music elements or making the piano keys more obvious.
after hearing about the topic, active ageing.. a few ideas came to my mind.. i thought of taking photos immediately.. i would definitely put a contrast within my poster showing active and inactive ageing.. but how do i do that?
well the best way i can think of is to portray inactive ageing in black and white or sepia colour while active ageing in vibrant colours..
i would say that the task for taking suitable photos would not be easy..
Our word: Wonderful..
Its a really difficult word to portray I thought.. Its a adjective!.. This is what me and my partner came up with:

represents WONDERFUL
Went to take photos for assignment 3 today!
Its really fun.
Animals can be really hard to control, but when you finally got the picture of what you want, it feels amazing.
The dog that would be starring in my photo story is called “Lucky”. She is a really well-behaved dog! She loves to shake hands with people, can you believe that? For most dogs, its so hard to make them raise a paw.. But she can do that just when she meets you. How cool is that? Haha.
Lastly, I can’t describe how thankful I am for Cass and Siteng, thanks for modeling for me!

Cass + Lucky

Lucky
Yay!
Finally after a few days of hard work drawing on my sketch book, I’m done!
My scanner couldn’t work suddenly, I had to use my camera to transfer my drawings into my laptop.
I chose to draw Changi Airport this time. The drawings look kind of cartoon-ish.. Maybe that’s my style =)
Hope you guys would take a look and give comments.
Regarding whether there is a similar abstraction already done, I searched the net again. Google, Yahoo, etc. I tried almost everything I can. Can’t seem to find anything similar. Am I lucky or what? Haha..
Well, I think the abstraction looks really familiar because its so recognizable to everyone. But I’m ready to change it if it really does not fit the requirements.
Cheers
During lecture, me and my partner came up with this..
